Sharks → Killer Instinct: Sharks & Killer Whales
|
Sharks first appeared in the oceans about 350 million years ago, long before dinosaurs ever roamed the Earth. Rob Bredl takes viewers "nose to jaws" with these feared predators of the sea. Many of the 360 species of sharks that inhabit the world's oceans are introduced, including the most feared and misunderstood shark of all, the Great White.
Orca, the "Killer Whale," the top ocean predator, is also examined. Must like packs of wolves, killer whales often hunt together to capture their prey -- even the Great White Shark is part of their diets. Bredl dives in and captures the creatures' killer instinct up close.
